ATLANTA (SEPTEMBER 3, 2025) – Asset Living is pleased to announce the addition of Kia Helms as Senior Vice President serving the company’s business development team. With over 25 years in property management, Helms is set to drive Asset Living’s business development strategy across the Southeast, leveraging market insights and institutional strengths to build relationships with ownership groups seeking a trusted, top-tier operator.
“My goals for the rest of 2025 are to forge strategic partnerships with multi-family property owners while spearheading Asset Living’s regional expansion,” says Helms. “I’ll be leading growth strategies that align with company objectives—sourcing, engaging, negotiating, and converting ownership groups into long-term partners, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver compelling proposals.”
Before joining Asset Living, Helms served as Senior Director of National Business Development at The RMR Group. Her career has been mainly on the supplier side, where she specialized in start-ups— most notably in the renter's insurance and deposit alternative space with a successful exit to RealPage. Helms holds a Bachelor of Science in Management degree from Georgia State University.

Outside the office, Helms enjoys spending time with her family and their three doodles (two Golden and one Aussie). She is also an avid sports fan, specifically college football and basketball, and enjoys cheering on the University of Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Hawks and most of all her two boys who have played on both their school and AAU basketball teams since they were in elementary school.
