Asset Living Promotes Michael McKibbin to Vice President, Facilities

PHOENIX (April 8, 2026) – Asset Living is pleased to announce Michael McKibbin’s promotion to Vice President within the company’s multifamily facilities department. With more than 20 years of experience in the property management industry, McKibbin will work closely with our newly structured facilities department to ensure all facilities-related policies and procedures are clear, accessible, and easy to implement across the portfolio.

“In 2026, our goal is to build a truly impactful department—one that ensures our properties are free of hazards, operationally aligned, and visually appealing, while consistently meeting KPIs,” says McKibbin. “We’re also focused on strengthening training for our teams and tightening our R&M controllables. At the same time, we’re working with HappyCo and other systems to make sure they’re comprehensive, user-friendly, and easy for on-site teams to adopt.”

Before stepping into his current role, McKibbin served as Senior Director of Facilities for Asset Living, where he oversaw operations across the West division. In that role, he led regional teams and maintained consistent performance across a diverse multifamily portfolio. He originally joined Asset Living as Director of Construction, but soon discovered his passion for the facilities, after which he transitioned into Director of Facilities. Throughout his tenure, he has also overseen facilities team members across the Mountain region. In his new position, McKibbin will oversee facilities operations across Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and West Texas.

“I’m looking forward to the integration of the Pacific Northwest and California, as it will further strengthen our department and expand my team,” says McKibbin.

Outside of work, McKibbin enjoys woodworking and has spent the past 15 years honing his craft, creating detailed, true works of art.
