HOUSTON (May 7, 2023) – Asset Living is pleased to announce Gretchen Stephenson as the new Chief Financial Officer for Asset Living. Stephenson will report to the Houston office and join the Asset Living team to lend her many years of expertise and knowledge from working within the finance and technology industry.
"My goals are to provide strong controllership, improve financial processes, and further develop our financial teams across Accounting, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis, all while supporting the growth of our business and hopefully having fun while we are doing it," says Stephenson.
Before her new role, Stephenson held various positions in the finance industry. She started her career in public accounting working for PWC, where she achieved tremendous growth. Later in Stephenson's career, she had various roles in Compaq and, later, HP. In 2017, Stephenson joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) and had the opportunity to hold multiple positions within the infrastructure segment there. Her most recent role involved leading the finance function for the infrastructure organization, which allowed her to develop and process analytics to support the company's growth and significant capital investments.
"[In this role], I am looking forward to learning about the business, meeting our team members, and driving value for Asset Living and our clients," says Stephenson.
In her downtime, Stephenson enjoys spending time with her family, riding her Peloton, and watching too much HGTV. Gretchen loves to travel and discover new places in the U.S. and other countries. As a proud alumna of Texas A&M University, she's a dedicated supporter of the Aggies and can often be found cheering them on at sporting events. Gretchen is also a big Astros fan and is hoping to see them bring home another World Series championship this season.
