HOUSTON (May 28, 2024) – Asset Living is pleased to announce Emily Nelson’s promotion to Vice President within the company’s multi-family division. With over 14 years of experience in the property management industry, Nelson will lead her team in implementing innovative digital marketing strategies for our clients.
"My goals for 2024 are to transform how Asset leverages digital marketing to help our clients achieve their occupancy goals," says Nelson. "I will review and optimize online campaigns and ILS partnerships, bringing innovative approaches to our digital marketing strategies."
Before her new role, Nelson served as the Vice President, Marketing for Asset Living's student housing division. She worked closely with her team to enhance customer engagement and elevate resident experience through strategic campaigns. Nelson's journey in the property management industry began in 2010 when she started as a Leasing Agent and Marketing Assistant on-site at a student housing community. Her academic background, with a Bachelor of Science in Business focused on Marketing from the University of Maryland, has greatly contributed to her success in the field.
"[In this role], I look forward to learning how our current multi-family marketing team operates and collaborating with my new team," says Nelson. "I am also excited to create new strategies and processes that enhance efficiency, optimize digital performance, and achieve occupancy goals."
When Nelson is not in the office, she loves spending quality time with her husband and their one-and-a-half-year-old son, Tripp. She also enjoys cooking and is currently working on publishing her first children's book, "Dolly's National Park Adventures." Inspired by her real-life travels across the US exploring National Parks with her husband and their dog, Dolly!
