HOUSTON (March XX, 2026) – Asset Living is pleased to announce Gilbert Miranda’s promotion to Regional Vice President within the company’s student housing department. With more than 11 years of experience in the property management industry, Gilbert brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, where he will focus on elevating operational excellence and developing talent across his portfolio and team.
“My goals for 2026 are to have our portfolio within Senior Vice President Abby Jarvela’s team recognized as a top-performing group within our student housing division,” says Gilbert. “I’m committed to identifying opportunities that set the benchmark for performance and execution, while also mentoring team members who are eager to grow by helping them build confidence, leadership skills, and operational knowledge.”
Prior to his current role, Gilbert was a Regional Manager at Asset Living, where he oversaw operations for a student housing portfolio of more than 2,500 beds across seven properties. He began his career in property management in 2012 as a Community Manager with Allison-Shelton Real Estate Services and joined Asset Living in 2020 as a Lease-Up Property Manager. His hands-on onsite experience positions him well to drive performance and provide strategic operational support to his portfolio, Regional Managers, and onsite teams.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to support Team Abby’s growth this year,” says Gilbert. “Several of our clients have expressed interest in acquiring additional properties and having some of their existing properties managed by Asset Living, creating many exciting opportunities for our team. Growth like this not only strengthens the portfolio but also allows us to develop our people, expand leadership opportunities, and continue building a high-performing team. I'm excited to see to play a role in helping ensure we maintain the operational excellence our clients expect as the portfolio grows.”
Outside of work, Gilbert enjoys music and sports, often attending concerts and live sporting events. These experiences give him a chance to unwind, enjoy the energy of a live crowd, and recharge from his day-to-day work pace.
