Asset Living Promotes Julie Bonnin to Principal

Houston (July 1, 2021) – Asset Living (“Asset”), one of the largest property management providers in the United States, is pleased to announce the promotion of Julie Bonnin to Principal.  In her new role, Julie will join the executive team while continuing to lend her leadership and expertise of Asset’s student housing portfolio which includes more than 130,000 beds across more than 40 states.  

“For nearly two decades, Julie has treated this business as if it were her own, and it’s been an honor to work alongside her throughout the duration of my career at Asset,” said Ryan McGrath, CEO and President of Asset Living, “She’s become one most recognized professionals the in the student housing industry and as a member of our executive team, Julie’s commitment to providing best in class service and solutions will continue to benefit our clients and residents.”

Julie has been in the industry for 32 years and will be celebrating her 20-year anniversary with Asset this August. Over the years, Julie has taken on numerous roles within the company, devoting her time to student housing operations. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Asset’s campus housing division and is responsible for supervising the senior management team, strategic planning, and assisting clients with acquisition pursuits.  

“It’s a true honor to be considered for this leadership position,” said Julie Bonnin, Principal at Asset Living. “After dedicating 20 years of my professional career to overseeing the student housing operations, becoming a Principal has truly been a humbling experience. Next month, Julie will be speaking on a panel at the 13th annual InterFace Student Housing Conference in Austin, TX, covering student housing innovation and best practices. Julie is a graduate of the University of Houston and has an associate degree in real estate finance and appraisals.
