ATLANTA (Feb. 13, 2023) – Asset Living is pleased to announce that Patti Higgins was promoted to Vice President within Asset Living’s multi-family division. Higgins, who has been with Asset Living since 2017, will report to the Atlanta office where she will lend her more than 30 years of expertise and knowledge from working within the property management industry. In this role, Higgins will focus on leading and supporting Regional Managers and on-site teams throughout the Southeast region.
Higgins joined JMG Realty, which Asset Living acquired in December 2021. Throughout her 6-year tenure, she has transitioned over 30 properties through acquisitions, dispositions, and management transitions, and her region has more than doubled in size. Patti’s current portfolio comprises over 4,400 units throughout the Southeast and Southwest regions. Three Regional Managers and one Executive Manager work directly with Patti within her portfolio. Several of the assets under Patti’s supervision are undergoing major interior and exterior renovations, as well as asset repositioning, including a complete property rebuild/lease-up, which is the result of the community being devastated by Hurricane Laura in 2020. Patti is well-respected in the industry and is highly skilled at exceeding owner goals.
Prior to joining JMG Realty, Patti’s background included Asset Management responsibilities at Alden Torch Financial (formerly Hunt Capital) and LaSalle Investment Management where she managed new construction, multi-family, single-family, and mixed-use portfolios valued at over $400 million in equity investments. Patti spent over 17 years at RREEF/Deutsche Bank where she had regional and national-level oversight of 18,000 units. Patti is a CPM candidate and is actively involved in apartment associations throughout her region.
“[In this role] I am looking forward to continued interaction with various groups, contributing new ideas, and learning new and improved ways of operating. My goals are to maximize performance by fine-tuning processes and fostering a customer-oriented environment that focuses on building strong teams, embracing change, and producing results for clients.,” said Higgins.
When Higgins is not working, she enjoys anything outdoors (except camping, that involves a tent), furniture building, music, and getting together with her husband and friends.
