Asset Living Promotes Stephanie Getek to Regional Vice President

HOUSTON (Jan. 26, 2023)Asset Living is pleased to announce Stephanie Getek was promoted to Regional Vice President within Asset Living’s campus division. Getek, who has been with Asset Living since May of 2022 when she transitioned with the DLP ownership portfolio, will report to the Houston office where she will lend her more than 21 years of expertise and knowledge from working within the property management industry. In this role, Getek will focus on creating a strong team of leaders and providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive.

“My responsibilities as a Regional Vice President are to oversee my teams as well as the communities within my portfolio to ensure that they are performing to the best of their ability,” said Getek. “My goals for 2023 are to assist in achieving net operating income (NOI) at all communities in my portfolio, and I have a portfolio-wide goal of 95% occupancy as well as 2% or less in delinquency.”

Getek started working in the property management industry when she was in high school. After graduation, she was promoted to Assistant Manager and soon became a Property Manager when she was later recruited by a management company to oversee two of their large properties that were struggling to meet NOI. Under Getek’s leadership, both properties were reporting positive YTD NOI in less than a year. Over the years, Getek served as a Regional Manager overseeing dozens of properties across the nation. In March of 2022, Getek started with DLP as a Regional Supervisor and transitioned to a Regional Supervisor role with Asset Living two months later.

“[In this role] I am looking forward to making a positive impact with my communities and teams. My goal is to identify the future superstars who have shown positive progress with their performance and will benefit from additional responsibilities, growth, and cross-training,” said Getek.

When Getek is not working, she is a crisis counselor for the CrisisTextLine, enjoys going to the beach, and spending time with her animals (a goat named Lucy, a chicken named Reba, two cats, and two dogs). She recently rescued one of her dogs, flying it home after a property visit in Houston, Texas.
