Asset Living Promotes Steve Messer to VP, Multi-Family Operations

HOSUTON (Jan. 13, 2023) – Asset Living is pleased to announce the promotion of Steve Messer to Vice President, Multi-Family Operations. Messer will report to the Houston office where he will lend his 18 years of expertise working in property management across the affordable, military, student, and multi-family housing industries.  In his new role, Messer will work to further develop and nurture client relationships while mentoring and supporting regional teams.  

“I've dedicated 10 fulfilling years at Asset Living working in the student division, and I plan to bring forth everything I learned as I transition into my new role on the multi-family team,” says Messer, “From continuing to optimize and streamline our processes and procedures throughout our multi-family portfolio to developing many new relationships with clients and co-workers, I look forward to achieving many goals in this new position.”  

Previously an Asset Living Regional Vice President for the student housing division, Messer oversaw managing all aspects of property management for multiple properties consisting of over 6,000 beds to 3,000 units. Messer is a Dallas Baptist University graduate, and he got his start working in property management as a district manager for affordable residential communities in the greater Atlanta market.

When he’s not working, Messer has a passion for coaching, teaching, and enjoys hunting, fishing, ranching, golfing, and cooking. Messer also enjoys finding ways to give back to the community through volunteering and serving local charities that have become important to his family.
