Houston, TX (August 14, 2025) — Asset Living, one of the nation’s leading third-party property management firms, is proud to spotlight recent employee-led efforts as part of its ongoing Community Impact Initiative. This quarter, Asset Living teams in Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston led the charge in supporting local organizations with their back-to-school programs to help families and children prepare for the academic year ahead.
Making an Impact in Atlanta, GA
The team in Atlanta turned “giving back to the communities we serve daily” into a reality by organizing a “Stuff the Bag” raffle engaging over 90 properties across the region. The initiative supported three winning communities: Madison on Mercer, The Crossings at Pooler, and Marketplace Village. Supplies were either delivered or shipped to each location in time for their back-to-school events.
“The team had a fantastic time at the back-to-school community event this week! We had the pleasure of distributing much-needed school supplies to 30 school-aged children who reside in our community,” said Asset Living Community Manager Shauna Adams. “We had fun decorating the sidewalk in front of our office with sidewalk chalk, blowing bubbles, playing frisbee, and getting to know our residents. We were so excited to have our Regional Manager and a member of our ownership team on-site to celebrate the beginning of the school year with us!”
Making an Impact in Dallas, TX
The team in Dallas supported their Community Impact Initiative Partner, The Family Place (a nonprofit organization that provides shelter, counseling, legal support and long-term services to families and individuals facing a crisis) through a “fill the backpack” drive. Dozens of notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, backpacks among other supplies were collected from the Asset Living Dallas team and delivered to The Family Place just ahead of the back-to-school season.
The Family Place shared, “Thank you again for the generous donations of school supplies. We are so grateful for your support with this initiative. With your help, we will be able to provide the children in our care with all that they need to have a successful start to the school year.”
Making an Impact in Houston, TX
In response to last month’s flooding in Kerr County, the Houston office organized a back-to-school drive that served over 70 families impacted by the floods. This timely effort ensured that children in crisis had the necessary tools to return to school with confidence and stability.
“We’re incredibly proud of our Houston team for stepping up in such a meaningful way,” said Asset Living Vice President, Multi-Family Operations, Amy Lewis. “Their swift response and compassion made a real difference for families in Kerr County, ensuring that students could return to school with a sense of normalcy and support. This effort is a powerful example of how our teams live out our values and show up for communities in times of need.”
The Community Impact Initiative was launched earlier this year to expand Asset Living’s philanthropic reach and create localized opportunities for employees to get involved. With a focus on volunteerism, philanthropy, and nonprofit partnerships, the initiative supports causes aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
