Today we are highlighting Asset Living’s Community Manager Lee Villarreal.
Lee Villarreal is a Community Manager for the Southeast division of Asset Living, specifically our Florida market. With property management experience since 1996, he has been responsible for managing many types of multi-family developments. Villarreal has experience in new construction, high-rise, mid-rise, and garden communities, rehabilitating properties, budget preparation, marketing, and personnel training and management.
Villarreal began working with Asset Living in 2007. He received excellence awards in leasing and management while working with Asset Living and within the property management field. Maintenance and leasing personnel under Villarreal’s supervision have won recognition at the local and regional levels for exceptional maintenance and leasing.
Last November, Asset Living’s impact partner, Covenant House, hosted its annual Sleep Out event and Villarreal went above and beyond by getting his teams, residents, and even his local apartment association involved in the effort of raising funds and getting involved in the mission to end youth homelessness.
What are some of the ways you supported this important cause (personally or professionally)?
“My community, 1100 Apex, raised $1,500, and our entire team leveraged their connections and community to raise awareness for this worthy cause and fundraise for the residents of Covenant House. My team and I are going to keep bringing awareness about the ongoing homelessness that impacts our city and country.”
What does Asset Living’s impact partnership with Covenant House mean to you?
“The partnership with Covenant House has impacted me personally because it has opened my eyes to a large number of displaced teens that have nowhere to call home. It has changed my perception of how a simple act of kindness can have a lasting impact. My eyes and perception have changed by simply being involved with Covenant House. I am grateful for all I have been blessed with and strive to continue positively impacting our society.”
What do you look forward to for Sleep Out 2023?
“We are looking forward to spreading the good word of how much of a positive impact can be achieved when we are all fully engaged. I know that our vendors and community residents will be excited to be a part of the 2023 Sleep Out.”
Outside of work at Asset Living, are you involved in the community, other organizations, passions, and/or hobbies? If so, tell us more.
“I am involved with the Bay Area Apartment Association and serve on the education committee and love seeing the impact our local association has in educating our future leaders. I love to participate annually in the Wreaths Across America. I have a great passion for traveling and have had the fortune to visit many places across the globe.”
