Asset Living Maintenance Supervisor Cee Brown Named 2025 MAINTENANCE LEGENDS™ Grand Prize Winner by the NAA

LAS VEGAS (JUNE 18, 2025) — Asset Living, one of the nation's largest third-party property management firms, is proud to celebrate Consquela “Cee” Brown, maintenance supervisor at Valora at Homewood in Bessemer, Alabama, who has been named the 2025 MAINTENANCE LEGENDS™ Grand Prize Winner by the National Apartment Association (NAA) in partnership with HD Supply.  

This national recognition honors Cee’s extraordinary compassion and dedication—going far beyond her day-to-day responsibilities to help a senior resident. With empathy and resolve, she volunteered to step in herself, telling her supervisor, “What if that was my parent?” Her care and action reminded our industry of the humanity at the heart of property management.

“At a time when it would’ve been easy to look away, Cee leaned in with compassion,” said NAA President and CEO Bob Pinnegar. “This story is not just about fixing a unit. It’s about fixing what others deemed unfixable—with heart, humility, and humanity.”

Cee received the MAINTENANCE LEGENDS™ grand prize—a brand-new Ford F-150 and a $10,000 check—onstage at Apartmentalize 2025, NAA’s annual conference held in Las Vegas.

Launched in 2023, the MAINTENANCE LEGENDS™ program celebrates rental housing maintenance professionals who go above and beyond in service to their residents. Season 2 of the initiative saw over 1,100 nominations and recognized 24 honorees throughout the year with prize packages valued at $5,000 each.
