RENO, Nev., (February 25, 2026) – The National Apartment Association (NAA) has selected Mikayla Alexandre, Community Manager with Asset Living, for the organization’s Diversity Leadership Program (DLP) class of 2026.
“It’s an honor to be selected and to be part of a team of industry leaders that values collaboration and the growth of both people and assets,” said Mikayla Alexandre, Asset Living Community Manager. “I find that by investing in our teams and properties, we create stronger communities and better experiences for everyone we serve.”
Founded in 2020, the DLP annually provides up to 15 individuals of diverse backgrounds an opportunity to develop as leaders in the rental housing industry. Participants who are considered junior to mid-level gain experience through mentorship and training as part of the yearlong program.
“The Diversity Leadership Program gives motivated young professionals an opportunity to excel in their careers by learning key career development skills,” said NAA President and CEO Bob Pinnegar. “I am excited to welcome the Diversity Leadership Program class of 2026. The DLP Class of 2026 will meet virtually from March through November. Throughout the year, participants will take part in education sessions, reading discussions, and mentor meetups. The program will conclude with a virtual graduation and capstone project presentation, where participants work in small groups to develop and identify a real solution for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in rental housing.
