Ryan McGrath

Ryan McGrath is a growth-driven executive with deep expertise in scaling multi-site operations and guiding organizations through strategic planning and leadership development. As CEO and President of Asset Living, he leads a team of ~13,000 employees poised to redefine the future of real estate. Under his leadership, Asset Living has grown into the largest true third-party property management firm in the United States, with nearly half a million homes under management.

Ryan began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions. He is an honors graduate of Vanderbilt University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics while competing on the varsity soccer team.

Beyond the office, Ryan is committed to community impact. He is a Lifetime Ambassador for Texas Children’s Hospital and a former Chairman of the Young Presidents’ Organization’s Houston Chapter. He also serves on the Board of Visitors for MD Anderson, where he is a member of the President’s Executive Council and Vice Chair for the Institute for Data Science in Oncology. In addition, Ryan sits on the Boards of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and St. Francis Episcopal School.

His leadership has been recognized nationally. Ryan was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2021), Houston Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO (2022), and a GlobeSt. Fifty Under Forty honoree (2022).
